About Us

MacKenzie Masonry was founded by Donald MacKenzie in 2010. Donald completed his apprenticeship in stonemasonry at Elgin cathedral in 1993. He graduated with an honours degree in Building Surveying from Napier University in 2001 and qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 2006.

Since inception, we have successfully delivered a wide variety of work on traditional buildings and masonry structures throughout Scotland. Our projects have ranged from sympathetic repair on vernacular buildings to complete new-builds. We have helped our clients to repair, maintain, protect and adapt properties of various types and ages.
